This project was prioritized through participatory budgeting in 2023, designed in 2024, and is now (as of September 2025) under construction. The City of Revere has issued a call for public art, seeking work samples from interested artists for a new mural on the wall facing onto the site.
Responses to the call for art are due by 11:59 PM on Monday September 22, 2025.

This project emerged from the 2023 Shirley Ave Public Realm Participatory Budgeting process which collected more than 600 pieces of input, including over 300 votes for public space projects proposed by community members.
